The challenge

14 production and engineering roles to fill in 10 weeks, with a delivery schedule slipping and two recruiters drowning in plant-floor screening.

The manufacturer was scaling fast and had committed to ship two new product lines within the quarter. The two in-house recruiters were already at full capacity running production-floor screens and shop-floor walk-throughs, time-to-fill on supervisor and engineering roles was over 70 days, and outreach response rates from candidates with the right industrial background had collapsed below 7%. Adding more recruiters meant a 3-month ramp, and headhunter retainers on niche manufacturing roles would have eaten the entire Q3 hiring budget on four hires.

The approach

Sourcify embedded a parallel sourcing engine alongside the in-house team in 3 days, focused on production, engineering, and quality.
